All My Free Time...

... is spent reading this book. I'm officially hooked. I've heard so much since the third book (Eclipse) in the series was released so I decided to start with the first of 3. I spend my days thinking of when I can read it next. I even dragged my sorry butt out of bed at 6:30 this morning and went to the gym so I could read on the bike. Yes, that is pitiful - why don't I get to the gym for the sheer reason of loosing some extra pounds? Anyway this is where I am and this is where I'll be till the series is done.

Even my husband enjoyed reading the books (he said the first part of Twilight was very "Are You There God It's Me Margaret." I said "You've actually read that?!" He said "Well, no" but he's heard enough. But then he got going and admitted that it was very "romantic"). Look for the unrelated "The Hosts" to come out next by Stephenie Meyer. These books have been lots of fun and very satisfying.

Okay, Okay already...I'll buy them! I guess I was waiting for someone close to me to read them first, since I have only been seeing them ALL over the blogs that I stalk. I'm a sucker for vampires, so I'm sure I'll get through them quickly. I'll start Harry Potter after these.

What in the world are these books all about? I keep hearing about them. I was never a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. At all. Is it like that show?

Meggan - that couldn't be further from what they are... it's more like The Notebook meets Vampires - it's a romance. Get hooked - I am. I'm already on New Moon (the second one)

I am only 4 pages into it so I don't have an opinion yet. But I can't wait to get hooked. There is nothing like gettting lost in a good book. You have done a good job at no T.V. and reading this summer. I have read more, but I didn't write off T.V. I just can't.
